Flake & Chip Epoxy Floors in Santa Rosa
Flake floors (also called chip or broadcast floors) are the most popular garage finish. Colored vinyl flakes are broadcast into the base coat and sealed under a clear topcoat.
Why homeowners choose flake
- The speckled pattern helps hide dust, tire marks and minor slab imperfections.
- Flakes add texture, and many installers can add anti-slip additives to the topcoat.
- Blends come in a wide range of colors, from light grays to darker mixes.
Partial vs. full broadcast
A partial broadcast scatters some flakes over a solid color. A full broadcast covers the base coat completely. Installers price these differently, so ask which one a quote includes.
